What is the Cougar Corner?

Cougar Corner is our school newsletter. This newsletter will be sent home at the beginning of each month with your student. Please be sure to read the newsletter so that you can keep up with important school events and announcements from SES!

Welcome Back Cougar Families!

We are SO excited to welcome everyone back to campus. It is great to see everyone’s smiling faces. We want to thank each and everyone of you for trusting us with your students; we strive to keep them safe, love them and help them to learn and grow. Please bear with us over the next few weeks as you see our campus starting and finishing up some projects.
It is important that we all stay safe and keep an eye out for small construction projects. Our new portable classrooms still have a few small finishing touches
and new sidewalks have just been poured. You will also notice the construction of a new fence that will be starting on 9/12/22. This fence will help increase security of our campus, but will inevitably
cause some dust and obstacles to watch out for.

We appreciate your patience, your support and your continued commitment to help our local schools.

BACK TO SCHOOL REMINDERS

Breakfast: starts at 8:50am
School Hours: 9:10am-3:42pm
Every Friday is early release: School dismisses at 2:12pm
Please do not drop of students before 8:50am
-Campus is closed.
All pick up changes MUST be called into the office by 3:00pm

*Early Pick Up*
Parents/guardians must come to the
office to check out students.
Students are not allowed to sit in the office
while they wait to be picked up early.

Meets on Wednesday
September Dates: 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th
Beginners: 3:45pm—4:30pm
Unicycle Team Members:
3:45pm—5:30pm
Permission slips available in the office.

Cougar Character

Welcome back, SES Cougars! Our character trait for September is Respect! Encourage

At the end of September, teachers will nominate a student from their class who displayed this character trait.
We can’t wait to see how SES Cougars exemplify respect!

Highlighting Careers in our Community

Throughout the year, SES would love to highlight careers in our community! Volunteers will be asked to submit a 2-5 minute video about their job that will be shown in classrooms. If this sounds like something you are
